Haha, I know it’s kind of dorky to announce it on my blog like this but I’m pretty excited. I’ve liked her for a LONG time and I finally took her out the other day :) I’ve told her about my blogs, don’t think she ‘gets’ it so much but she’s OK with me putting a photo of her on here. ‘Harriet Tubman, abolitionist, author, and engineer of the Underground Railroad, led Union Army guerillas into South Carolina and freed nearly 800 slaves on this date June 2 1863. Tubman was the first woman in U.S. history to command an armed military raid.’
